Arab FMs calls for saving Libya from terrorists

CAIRO, Jan 10 (KUNA) -- Arab Foreign Ministers Sunday called for a clear plan to salvage Libya from terrorists, reaffirming solidarity with the north African nation in confronting so-called Islamic State (IS).
The foreign ministers, in a final statement over Libya at end of their one-day meeting, condemned the "criminal act executed by the terrorist IS in the city of Zliten that killed some 65 people and injured 127 others.
They also condemned the deadly terrorist attack on Ras Lanuf.
The foreign ministers said neighboring countries and the international community should put a clear plan to save Libya from the menace of terrorism and chaos.
This should happen, they said, by supporting the Libyan national army to eradicate the armed terrorist groups in order to restore order in the region.
They called for rapid formation of a government of national consensus. (pickup previous) mfm.rg.bs
