ALGIERS, Dec 31 (KUNA) -- Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal received Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir who arrived at Houari-Boumediene International Airport from Tunisia earlier Thursday.
The meeting, attended by Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane, reviewed a host of bilateral issues, Al-Jubeir told reporters.
"We have discussed the topics on the agenda of the third session of the Algerian-Saudi Political Consultation Committee and the outcomes of the 11th session of the Algerian-Saudi Joint Commission, held in early December," he revealed.
"The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues relating to political and security situation in the Arab world, as well as regional and international issues of common concern," he added.
Al-Jubeir who leads a senior-level delegation on a working visit to Algeria, is to chair the Saudi side at the third session of the Algerian-Saudi Political Consultation Committee.
The committee, set up in 2008, has so far held two sessions the last of which took place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, in February, 2014. (end)
