15 ISIL leaders killed by air strike W. Iraq

BAGHDAD, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- Around 15 gunmen of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant were killed and several others wounded, including ISIL leader's assistant, by an airstrike on Anbar province in western Iraq, the interior ministry said Saturday.
The air strikes targeted an ISIL stronghold in Al-Aish district of Al-Jazeera area in Anbar governorate, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the terrorist group was holding a meeting for ISIL leaders at the time of the air attack.
Among the killed leaders were Abu Menna Al-Masry, Abu Homam Al-Zubaidi, Abu Hajar Al-Aassafi, Basheer Shehab, and Abu Ali Al-Anbari, noted the statement. (end) ahh.ma
