Int'l anti-corruption conference to kick off in Malaysia next week

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- The 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia, from September 2-4.
The Conference will be jointly hosted with the Government of Malaysia, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), and the Malaysian Society for Transparency and Integrity (TI Malaysia).
Deputy Chief Commissioner of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Mustafa Ali said in a press statement, on Friday, that the conference does not only perform as a platform to debates and discussion but it is a venue where senior experts share their expertise to be utilized in real life. The IACC takes place every two years in a different region of the world, and hosts from 800 to 2000 participants from over 135 countries worldwide. The conference serves as the premier global forum for the networking and cross-fertilization that are indispensable for effective advocacy and action, on a global and national level. (end) aab.nfm
