DOHA, July 15 (KUNA) -- Qatar has welcomed the deal reached in Vienna, Austria, between Iran and the 5+1 countries over Tehran's nuclear program.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry described the agreement as a "significant step."
The ministry also expressed hope, in a statement Tuesday night, that such agreement would contribute to bolstering peace and stability in the region.
Iran and the P5+1 group reached a comprehensive agreement that would degrade Tehran's uranium enrichment capabilities in return of easing of sanctions. (end)
