KUWAIT, June 26 (KUNA) -- Several worshipers were killed and others injured in the blast that hit Al-Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Al-Sawaber neighborhood in Kuwait city during the afternoon Friday prayer, the Ministry of Interior announced.
In a press statement, the Ministry stressed that the security agencies are closely following up the developments and investigating the incident to identify its causes and the number of casualties.
The Ministry urged all people not to gather near the bombing site to allow the security personnel to take the required measures. (end) abd.ibi
