3 Syrian regime officers killed in helicopter crash in Aleppo

AMMAN, June 13 (KUNA) -- At least three officers of the Syrian regime were killed Saturday when their helicopter crashed in Aleppo, north of the country, said a monitoring group.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement that the militants of Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) targeted the helicopter around the airbase of Kwayres in eastern Aleppo.
The observatory confirmed that the dead included two lieutenant colonels and a first lieutenant. (end) tk.hm
