Syrian regime's aircraft crashes -- monitor

AMMAN, June 11 (KUNA) -- A military aircraft of the Syrian regime crashed on Thursday in Nejran, in Al-Suwaidaa's countryside in southern Syria, the opposition-operated Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
It was still unclear how and why the aircraft went down, while destiny of the crew also remained un-determined.
Meanwhile on the battlefield, Al-Thaa airport located just west of Al-Suwaidaa witnessed fighting between the regime ground forces and opposition factions, the monitor said indicating that the foes were seeking to seize the air facility.
Elsewhere, SOHR reported that 20 Druzes were shot dead by Al-Nusra militants in Idlib, northwest of Syria. The bloodshed was triggered when Al-Nusra gunmen attempted to occupy house of a pro-regime citizen in Qalb Loze village. In retaliation, one of the assaulting gunmen was shot dead by a resident.
