76 troops killed in battle against Syrian Army's 2nd largest brigade

(reopens) AMMAN -- Meanwhile, the opposition-run Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that nine members of the Lebanese organization, Hezbollah, were killed in clashes with Islamic groups, namely Al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), in Al-Qalamoun in the Damascus' countryside.
In Homs, central Syria, an ISIL militant blew up a gas pipeline near Al-Tifor airport in a pre-dawn attack, while clashes raged between the regime troops and the opposition warriors in Al-Hola in the northern Homs region. The two sides suffered casualties.
Elsewhere, the monitor reported attacks with "lethal barrels" targeting several regions in Hama rural areas. Identical attacks were reported in the eastern Deir-Ezzor region. (end) tk.rk
