TEHRAN, May 27 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti national men's water polo team on Wednesday beat Moroccan counterpart 20/5 in the FINA World Men's Water Polo Development Trophy, currently held in Iran, 24-29 May.
Today's win has granted the Kuwaitis two precious points, raising hopes to move forward in the championship, coach of the team said after the match, lauding players' performance.
The following game against Malta is fatal, and we hope to qualify for the next round, as we are moving ahead step by step, he added.
Kuwaiti's group includes Saudi Arabia, Malta and Azerbaijan, while the other group includes Iran, Tunisia, Indonesia, Austria and Guatemala. (end)
