SARAJEVO, May 22 (KUNA) -- Bosnia has affirmed desire to elevate to higher level diplomatic and economic cooperation with Kuwait and has hailed aid offered to the European country in various fields.
Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak, speaking during a meeting with the Kuwait Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nasser al-Mutairi, on Friday, said Sarajevo would seek to cement the relationship with Kuwait, praising its support for the country in the economic and political arenas as well as at international quarters. He indicated that his department, in coordination with other authorities, would seek to lure Kuwaiti enterprises.
Bosnia's forecast joining of the European Union will be a guarantee for foreign capitals, he said.
Ambassador Al-Mutairi conveyed greetings of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and his congratulations for assuming the European Council's chairmanship.
He reiterated support for the nation's integrity noting the Kuwaiti aid, provided to the people last year, following floods. (end) aa.rk
