MILAN, May 21 (KUNA) -- As part of EXPO Milan 2015, a number of religious clerics from around the world celebrated the anniversary of "Culture Diversity for Dialogue and Development World Day" in a discussion forum on Milan Charter Thursday.
The forum, which was held amid a biodiversity exhibition garden was a symbolic meeting that tackled the subject of (food ethics and protection of the environment), organized by the official exhibition magazine (Expo Net), in the presence of Italian Minister of Agricultural, Nutrition, and Forestry Maurizio Martina.
The discussion focused on issues concerning sustainability in food and environment production representatives from seven clerics from a wide range of background.
Minister Martina stressed that this meeting comes on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of Culture Diversity World Day which is "one of the most important activities of the Expo Milan 2015 due to being part of Milan charter, which called for religious dialogue.
Participants in the forum also offered guests during their discussions a vision from every religion point of view on the major challenges facing them, particularly in terms of common topics like food being humanity basic humanitarian value that should not be wasted.
In a related topic, Kuwait pavilion Information Director Mohammad Al-Badah told KUNA that the Kuwaiti pavilion is witnessing a remarkable turnout with groups from Kuwait, Iran, Thailand, and Italy especially children and young people. (end) mn.mb
