Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah
KUWAIT, May 21 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah has affirmed Kuwait's keenness on supporting international military sports that aim to consolidate relations among friendly and brotherly countries and TO enhance friendship and peace among them.
Sheikh Khaled made the remark while receiving President of the International Military Sports Council (IMSC) Lieutenant Colonel Abdel Hakim Al Shino and members of the council's general assembly, Defense Ministry's Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said in a press statement on Thursday.
On his part, Shino expressed his gratitude for Kuwait's hosting of the meeting of general assembly and for support of Sheikh Khaled to the military sports, the statement added.
The meeting was attended by the Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khoder and senior officials of the ministry. (end)
