Kuwaiti army to participate in military exercise in Qatar

KUWAIT, May 9 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti army force has headed to Qatar to participate in military exercises (Ferocious Falcon 4) to be held from May 10-26, with the participation of several countries, said the ministry on Saturday.
The (Ferocious Falcon 4) exercises include training for facing crises, disasters, threats and to deter terrorism in cooperation with other countries as well as Qatari security services and ministries, the Defense Ministry's department of public relations added in a statement.
The Kuwaiti army's involvement in exercises aims to boost joint military cooperation, and gain more experience, it noted.
The Kuwaiti army force was seen off at the airport by a number of Kuwaiti military officials. (end) hmd.aas.hs
