ABU DHABI, May 3 (KUNA) -- An Air Arabia plane was forced to land in an airbase after one of the passengers reportedly said the aircraft would explode, official WAM news agency said.
The plane was returning to Sharjah airport but one of the passengers said the plane would explode thus forcing pilots to change course towards Al-Minhad Airbase, WAM added.
The plane was directed to land in Al-Minhad and the official authorities started investigating the incident, it said.
Al-Minhad Airbase is some 24 kilometers south of Dubai. (end)
