Representation at Kuwait III "very good" - Cabinet Min.

KUWAIT, March 31 (KUNA) -- Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah described as "very good" the level of representations to the Third International Pledging Humanitarian Conference for Syria.
Sheikh Mohammad, also chairman of the higher committee for coordination of conferences, told a news conference the aid-pledging meeting would be at a ministerial level.
He said Kuwait was closely cooperating with the UN Development Prgram (UNDP) to carry out development projects, so the cooperation is only merely financial assistance.
The Third International Pledging Humanitarian conference for Syria began earlier today where His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah announced USD 500 million pledge from the government and private sectors to help the Syrian people. (end) kt.bs
