KUNA issues "Syrian crisis" Part II

KUWAIT, March 25 (KUNA) -- Developments of the Syrian crisis over the past two years is the focus of a new book issued by KUNA, both in English and Arabic.
The five-chapter issuance is part II of KUNA's book issued about two years before on the crisis, and the responding Kuwaiti, Arab and international efforts.
It is issued on the occasion of the Third International Humanitarian Pledging Conference which Kuwait hosts on 31 March. The country hosted the first and the second donors' conferences in 2013 and 2014.
This Part II tackles major 2013-2014 developments of the Syrian crisis, and the relevant Arab and international efforts, as well as Kuwait's role, especially humanitarian, to support the Syrian people through official institutions and private societies.
The book includes a preface by Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah and an introduction by KUNA Board Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah. (end) aas.msa
