UN praises Kuwait's humanitarian role in Syrian crisis

GENEVA, March 25 (KUNA) -- A number of UN member countries concerned with the humanitarian conditions in Syria have praised Kuwait's prominent efforts in aiding Syrians, said Kuwait's permanent delegate to the UN Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghunaim.
The UN's UnderSecretary-General and Emergency Relief Coordinator Valerie Amos has stressed Kuwait's role in easing the suffering of refugee and relocated Syrians, Al-Ghunaim told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday.
The UN organizations have high hopes that the upcoming 3rd donors conference to be held in Kuwait would help all Syrians in need and provide them with better living conditions, he noted.(end) ta.ag
