Al-Ghanim expresses sympathy over Pakistani school attack

KUWAIT, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim called on his Pakistani counterpart Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at his place of residence in Kuwait to express sympathy over the tragic Peshawar school massacre that killed 132 children and nine staff.
Al-Ghanim condemned the terrorist act and showed solidarity from the Kuwaiti government and people.
The Speaker was accompanied by Chairman of the parliamentary budget and final accounts committee MP Adnan Abdulsamad, Chairman of the financial and economic affairs committee MP Faisal Al-Shaya and Secretary-General of the National Assembly Alam Al-Kandari.
The Pakistani Speaker arrived in Kuwait the day before yesterday on an official visit to hold talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart.
Sadiq also met His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and several other state officials. (end) sss.nfm
