KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Cambodia Dhrar Al-Tuwaijri Thursday stressed the significance of upcoming visit of the Cambodian Minister of Commerce Sun Chanthol to Kuwait, slated for November 30.
The visit reflects development of relationship between the two countries and mutual desire to promote trade and economic cooperation, Al-Tuwaijri told KUNA.
He added that the visit comes after the first meeting of the joint trade committee which was held in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh last March.
During the visit Cambodian minister will meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdulmohsen Al-Madaj; Managing Director of Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Bader Al Saad and officials of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Al-Tuwaijri pointed out.
He expressed hopes that Cambodian visit would open up new horizons for trade, investment and economic relations to serve the interests of both countries. (end) ama.hs
