Lebanese soldier killed during attempt to defuse bomb

BEIRUT, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- One Lebanese soldier was killed on Tuesday during attempt to defuse an improvised bomb in Lebanese city of Tripoli, the military said.
A statement by the military said the improvised bomb exploded during attempt by two soldiers to dismantle it.
The statement added military police rushed to scene and further investigation is taking place. (end) ayb.mb
