Kuwait donates EUR 200,000 for Islamic endowment project in Poland

KUWAIT, June 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Poland Adel Hayat has handed to Polish authorities the amount of EUR 200,000 as part of a Kuwaiti donation for an Islamic endowment project in Lodz, Poland, under sponsorship and implementation of the Muslim League in Poland and the Polish Muslim Association for Culture and Qualification, Kuwait Embassy in Poland stated on Friday.
The project is made up of an Islamic center that encompasses a mosque with a capacity for 300 worshipers, a school that gives Islamic instruction, in addition to lecture halls and centers for organizing pilgrimage trips to Makkah. (end) asm.ma
