SEOUL, April 23 (KUNA) -- A visiting senior Kuwaiti official met South Korea's Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Kyung-soo here on Wednesday on ways and means of developing bilateral relations in various domains.
During the meeting, Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry's Asia Section Chief Mohammad Al-Roomi and the South Korean official discussed cooperation between Kuwait and South Korea and several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting is part of preparations for the planned talks of the South Korea-Kuwait joint committee.
During his stay here, the Kuwaiti official visited the ASAN Institute for Policy Studies, a major think-tank in South Korea, where he held talks with officials on Kuwait's history, constitution and women, together with several other matters.
He also met Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Chairman Yvo de Boer in presence of Kuwaiti Ambassador in Seoul Jassem Al-Bedewi who elaborated on his agency's green growth policies and goals. (end)
