Eight soldiers killed in Iraq attacks

IRBIL, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- Eight soldiers were killed and two civilians wounded in separate attacks in Ninevah Province and Mosul in north Iraq on Wednesday.
A bomb car was blown up while the motorcade of Ninevah intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Ismail Al-Jabori was passing by in south Mosul, leaving six of his bodyguards dead, a security source said.
Two soldiers in a vehicle going to their military unit in south Mosul were shot dead by unknown soldiers, the source said. (end) sbr.mt KUNA 152352 Jan 14NNNN
