Blues Futsal Team wins Al-Roudan championship title

(With photos) KUWAIT, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Blues Futsal Team on Tuesday won the title of the late Abdullah Mishari Al-Roudan's 34th championship after beating Americana Team 1-0 in the final match.
The annual soccer contest, held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Sports Center in Al-Da'iyyah neighborhood, drew large number of spectators.
Kuwait Sporting Club won the title of the young competition after beating Hassan Abul Academy team in the shootouts 3-2.
The championship drew participation from 64 teams.
The prize-giving ceremony was attended by Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah on behalf of HH the Amir.
Sheikh Salman expressed joy for the wonderful organization of the spectacular contest and renewed support of his ministry to all sports activities. On his part, the honorary president of the championship Nasser Al-Roudan thanked the ministry for contributing to the success of the event and HH the Amir for his kind patronage.
