CSC sets Ramadan working hours for state institutions

KUWAIT, July 4 (KUNA) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has set the working hours for state institutions during the holy month of Ramadan starting from eight o'clock in the morning until one o'clock p.m. for Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Public Authority for Youth and Sports (PAYS), Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Environment Public Authority, Ministry of Justice and the Public Authority for Industry.
The CSC added in a press statement that these working hours also apply to the Ministry of Public Works, Public Authority for Minors Affairs, Ministry of Higher Education, Kuwait General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Communications, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate and the Ministry of Education.
It said that the hours will also apply to the Credit and Savings Bank, Ministry of Information, Zakat House, Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Kuwait Municipality, Kuwait Ports Authority, Civil Service Commission, Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters..
It stated that the working hours for the rest of the bodies would be from 9: 00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m., indicating that those institutions with special work nature and desire to change their working hours must first consult with the CSC. (end) ako.tg KUNA 041721 Jul 13NNNN
