DOHA, June 26 (KUNA) -- Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on
Wednesday issued the Amiri Decree No. 4 for 2013 forming a 20-member cabinet
line-up led by Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The decree stipulates that Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani
will double as Minister of Interior, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
It names Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud as Deputy Prime Minister
and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah
as Foreign Minister; Maj.-Gen. Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah Minister of State for
Defense Affairs; Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani as the
Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning; Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada
Minister of Energy and Industry; Ali Sherif Al-Emadi the Minister of Finance;
Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage;
Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani Minister of Public Health; Dr. Ghaith bin
Mubarak Al-Kuwari Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs; and
Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser Al Ali Minister of Youth and Sports.
It also names Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani Minister of
Economy and Trade; Dr. Hassan Lahdan Saqr AL-Mohannadi Minister of Justice;
Dr. Issa Saad Al-Jafali Al-Nuaimi Minister of Administrative Development; Dr.
Hessa Sultan Al Jaber Minister of Communication and Information Technology;
Dr. Saleh Mohamed Salem Al Nabit Minister of Development Planning and
Statistics; Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi Minister of Education and
Higher Education; Abdullah Saleh Mubarak Al-Khulaifi Minister of Labour and
Social Affairs; Ahmed Amer Mohamed Al Humaidi Minister of Environment; Jassim
Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti Minister of Transport.
The Amiri decree annuls any provisions contravening its rules; it takes
immediate effect and will be published in the official gazette, according to
