ISTANBUL, Turkey, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- The Turkish security services said
Sunday a policeman was killed and two others were injured when the Kurdistan
Workers Party (PKK) terrorists attacked security posts in the southeastern
Sirnak province.
The terrorists used automatic rifles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPG) in
the attack on a military barracks and a police checkpoint, the news NTV
network reported this evening.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital while the clashes between the
security forces and the PKK militants are still going on, according to the
