RIYADH, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said the Kingdom's occasion of celebrating the 82nd National Day anniversary would remain a source of pride for coming generations and an inspiration for sacrifices and patriotic devotion.
"I am honored to address warmest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and his right arm, the Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, may Allah safeguard them, along with the Kingdom and its generous people on the occasion of the National Day." said Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber in a statement to KUNA, expressing congratulations to leaders and peoples of the Gulf State.
He lauded the late King, Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Saud, who founded the Kingdom after unifying it under the slogan of Islam, praising him for enforcing security and stability in the country, as well as making grand achievements in the political, economic and social domains.
Some of the most important foundations of this state is the tangible confidence that has existed between the leadership and the people, the principle of interaction between the two sides through the open door policy, he said alluding to the leaders' modest attitude of dealing with the ordinary citizens and listening, personally, to their problems and hardships.
He noted the Kingdom's success on the international stage, namely its active role at diverse international levels, namely within quarters of the United Nations, and underlined the major and pivotal role played by Riyadh toward its Gulf brethern, within the GCC and affiliate bodies, as well as Arab organizations.
Moreover, Sheikh Thamer praised Riyadh's continuing and active role for backing Arab and Islamic causes, and asserted depth of the brotherly relations bounding the country with Kuwait at the official and popular levels, wishing the Kingdom and its people further prosperity and security.
