DAMASCUS, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Twelve civilians were killed and 48 others wounded on Tuesday in a blast of a booby-trapped car parked by an "armed group" in the city of Jaramana in Damascus' countryside, an official source said.
The source said in a statement quoted by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that "a booby-trapped car parked by terrorists near a cemetery in Jaramana exploded during the funeral of two martyrs who were killed yesterday," leaving 12 civilians killed and 48 others wounded.
The agency said that an engineer, his wife and daughter were killed earlier today when a roadside bomb stuck on their vehicle by an armed group went off. (end) om.tg KUNA 281811 Aug 12NNNN
