Kuwait''s Kazma beats India''s East Bengal 3-0 in AFC cup

KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Kazma football team crushed Indian East Bengal 3-0 in the second group competition of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) cup tournament.
Kazma took charge and had the upper hand from the start during the match, held here at Peace and Friendship Stadium, starting the first half with two goals.
The first goal was at 35th minute by Yousif Naser, the second goal was on the 43 minute by Naser Al-Wuhaib.
In the second half, Kazma maintain their excellent form and control on the pitch, enabling them to score their third at the 58th minute, thanks to their professional player Abdou Jammeh.
Kazma now top the group with four points, followed by Yemeni Al-Orupa who has same points but goal difference, while Irbil came third with two points.
Meanwhile, Kuwait's Qadsia lost here to Syrian Al-Itihad 0-1 amid competitions of the second group, which includes Jordan's Al-Faisali and Omani Al-Sowiq.
The lonely score was signed by Ahmad Kalasi, at the 22nd minute after a powerful long strike from distance.
Despite the many lost chances to score Qadisa could not bring the equalizer.
At the conclusion of this round, Syrian Al-Itihad is top of the group with four points, Kuwait's Qadsia with three points, followed by Jordan's Al-Faisali with two points. (end) bsu.mb KUNA 202330 Mar 12NNNN
