(With photos) ALGIERS, Sept 11 (KUNA) -- Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly (the lower house of parliament) Abdulaziz Ziari said the Kuwaiti National Assembly (parliament) has a rich and pioneering experiment among the Arab parliaments.
"The Kuwaiti parliamentary experiment is helpful and distinguished thanks to the diversity of the views among the MPs," Ziari said during his meeting with the Kuwaiti side of the Kuwaiti-Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Group here on Sunday.
"The current visit of the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation provides a new opportunity for reviewing the close bilateral ties particularly in the parliamentary domain," he pointed out.
The Algerian top lawmaker voiced hope for more high-level visit exchanges among politicians and economists of the two nations with a view to promoting the bilateral ties and serving the common interests.
The Kuwaiti delegation, led by chairman of the parliamentary friendship group and Rapporteur of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Mubarak Al-Khurainej, includes MPs Khaled Sultan, Saad Zenifer and Dhaifullah Buramya. (pickup previous) ft.gb KUNA 112243 Sep 11NNNN
