KUWAIT, Oct 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Geographical Society will hold next Tuesday
a seminar on natural disasters and the latest catastrophic floods in Pakistan,
as part of the annual cultural season of the society.
The head of the cultural and scientific committee in the society Salem
Salem said in remarks to the media that the seminar will be held at 6:00 pm on
Tuesday, and it will be delivered by the head of geography department in
Kuwait University Dr. Abduallah Al-Kandiri, and Dr. Ali Al-Dosiri from Kuwait
Institute for Scientific Research (KISR)
The seminar will discuss the nature of water-related disasters, and the
suffering of the Pakistani people in facing the latest floods that hit the
