Kuwait Zakat House encourages donation through SMS

KUWAIT, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Zakat House continues to collect donations from recipients and charitable projects through various channels of services, including mobile telephone messages (SMS), marketing observer in Zakat house said on Thursday.
SMS service has been activated for more than three years in cooperation with local mobile telecommunication service companies in support of its services and provides easiest way to donate in 24 hours, he added.
SMS service is also available to the public to choose the type of donation from charity to Zakat to implement various Zakat house projects such as relief projects, orphans caring, encouraging students in education, and Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan, he noted.
