BAGHDAD, June 15 (KUNA) -- Three Iraqi civilians were killed and four
policemen were injured in two attacks in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
A source from the Iraqi Police told KUNA on Tuesday that unidentified
gunmen broke into a house in Al-Yousef area, south of Mosul, Monday night and
shot its residents, killing three family members.
Meanwhile, a bomb exploded in a main road in Mosul Monday evening, injuring
four police officers seriously, the source added.
The source pointed out that Iraqi security forces in Nainawa arrested on
Tuesday an individual who took part in the assassination of standby candidate
of the Iraqi List, Faris Jassim Al-Jabouri.(end)
