IRBIL, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Four Iraqi policemen were killed and five others
were injured Tuesday in separate violent incidents in the city of Mosul
northern Iraq.
A source in the Iraqi police in Mosul told KUNA that unkown gunmen fired at
a police patrol that was on duty in Al-Sa'a suburb in Mosul which resulted in
the killing of two Iraqi policemen and the injury of three others.
In another incident, the source added, unknown armed gunmen threw hand
bombs on a police patrol in central Mosul killing two police members.
In addition, an explosive device was detonated in another police patrol in
Al-Majmo'a town northern Mosul injuring two policemen. (end).
