ALGIERS, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- Seven new swine flu deaths were reported in
Algeria on Friday, bringing the total number of victims to 54.
According to a Health Ministry statement, seven people died after
contracting the H1N1 virus, while 72 new infectees were also reported,
bringing the total number of people who suffered from the virus since it was
first discovered in the country in June of 2009 to 808.
A vaccination campaign kicked off in all districts in late December, and
the government plans to immunize 20 million people against the virus by
