Twenty Iraqis wounded in two Baghdad blasts

BAGHDAD, July 30 (KUNA) -- At least 20 Iraqis were wounded in two incidents in Baghdad on Thursday, police said.
A police source told KUNA that an explosive device went off in Kadhmiya district, northern Baghdad, wounding 18 people at varying degrees of severity.
In a separate incident, police said a US patrol vehicle opened fire randomly in Zafaraniya district, southern Baghdad, wounding a man and a woman.
It was unclear whether the US patrol was responding to an attack.
The same police source said another US patrol came under attack in Madaen district, southern Baghdad, but said that it was unknown whether the explosion caused material damage. (end) ahh.ema KUNA 301247 Jul 09NNNN
