BAGHDAD, June 20 (KUNA) -- Iraqi police discovered Saturday a workshop used
to put together explosive devices in the southern province of Thi Qar.
A police statement said a special force unit stormed the workshop today,
but gave no information other than the fact that work was underway to remove
all explosive materials from the locations.
A few days back, Iraqi forces found ten tons of modern weapons in one of
the houses in Thi Qar and arrested two terrorists who were at the location at
the time. (end)
