ISLAMABAD, June 15 (KUNA) -- Police here Monday night arrested at least seven militants from a posh area, police sources said.
The militants were arrested from F-7 sector of Islamabad in a raid conducted by police on a tip-off, local news channel Samaa quoted the sources as saying.
It said the militants have been shifted to an unknown location and the authorities were expecting breakthrough leads during interrogation.
Police has been vigilantly guarding Islamabad streets since suicide bomber targeted a Rescue 15 office last week. The attack was averted and ended up in the killing of two police officers while six others received minor injuries. (end) amn.bs KUNA 152240 Jun 09NNNN
