KABUL, May 19 (KUNA) -- Two Afghan policemen were killed and seven others
injured in a suicide attack in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday evening.
The attack was carried out in Arghandab district of the country's southern
province of Kandahar by a man who was on foot.
Witnesses said the injured policemen also included chief of police
department in Arghandab district.
Officials said the police party was on routine patrol in Arghandab district
when the bomber detonated himself close to them.
Kandahar province police chief Mutiaullah Qati said two cops had been
killed. He said the injured were shifted to Kandahar hospital for treatment.
