Jordanian newspapers continue commenting on positive impacts of Kuwait

summit AMMAN, Jan 23 (KUNA) -- Jordanian newspapers' columnists and articles continued on Friday commenting on positive outcome of the Arab economic summit that was held in Kuwait earlier this week and its impact on the Arab political reality and the prospects it has opened up towards an economic integration.
In this context, Salama Al-Akor, a writer in Al-Rai newspaper said in a commentary that the Kuwait summit, compared with the previous summits, was a new turning point in the Arab action.
He pointed to the role of the summit to stress the need for Arab economic integration on the basis of clear rules and principles as to achieve a comprehensive Arab economic and social development at all levels and in a way that makes the Arab people progress to better standards of living.
"what is important is to practically interpret the Kuwait summit's resolutions and not to have its decisions kept in files".
For his part, Mohammad Al-Shawaheen, a writer in the same newspaper, said in a commentary dubbed: (The Best Arab Summits) that Kuwait's summit, whether economic or political, carried a good omen, and was held in the darkest circumstances that faced the Arab nation amid differences between some countries.
He added that the corridors of the summit meetings have seen positive resolutions that relieved the hearts of our Arab peoples, who have been yearning for the spirit of Arab solidarity for a very long time eventhough such meetings were marred by some of the enticements that were raised about some of the issues related to the closing statement.
