Sheikha Fareeha lauds Amir''s efforts for Arab conciliation

KUWAIT, Jan 21 (KUNA) -- Chairperson of the Higher Committee for the Ideal Mother and Family Award Sheikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah lauded Wednesday the efforts of His Highness the Amir for Arab conciliation.
In a cable to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, she congratulated him to the success of the Arab Economic Summit, which "achieved Arab solidarity and ended conflicts that had surfaced in Arab relations for a long time." She said this reflected on the true ability of Kuwait and the diplomacy of its leader, noting the contribution of USD 34 million to UNRWA to assist Palestinians, as well as the Amir's initiative for launching a USD two billion fund to finance small and medium enterprises and making a USD 500 million contribution to it.
