SARAJEVO, Jan 21 (KUNA) -- Bosnian Presidency Council Chairman Haris Silajdzic underscored the role of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in turning the Arab Economic Summit into a success and his efforts to bring Arab parties closer to agreement and unity.
In statements to KUNA, Bosnian Muslims' presidency representative Silajdzic said Kuwait's regional and international geographic location and its wise leadership and realization of the responsibility which comes with this reality were the corner stones of the success of the summit and the reaching of highly sought Arab conciliation.
History shall forever mark the role of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah in the reconciliation and his successful mediation, which boosted solidarity among Arab leaders in general, he added.
Silajdzic further praised the due stress and emphasis given to the Palestinian cause and the situation in Gaza and expressed hopes of Arab countries bonding and cooperating together on this important issue.
