KUWAIT, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Deputy Premier and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Faisal Al-Hajji lauded Tuesday the outcomes of the Arab Economic Summit.
Speaking to KUNA after the summit's conclusion, Al-Hajji, who is also head of the summit's higher organizing committee, said the most important of these outcomes was "Arab conciliation which would not have been achieved without the efforts of His Highness the Amir." He added that the wisdom of the Kuwaiti leader no doubt contributed to the success of the summit, he said.
The participation of 17 Arab leaders in the summit is an "unprecedented" achievement, he noted.
Al-Hajji underscored the importance of the forum that was held on the sidelines of the summit and the recommendations it issues, which it said reaffirmed efforts for economic and social development. (end) kt KUNA 201657 Jan 09NNNN
