KUWAIT, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Arab media should be an integral part of the development schemes and economic development plans in the Arab countries, a Mass Communication and Public Relations Professor said Tuesday.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Sharif of Kuwait University, speaking to KUNA, said the Arab Economic Summit should take into consideration that media was contributing with large part in the promition of development projects.
The public opinion should be aware of of the participation of media in order to achieve development objectives, he said.
Al-Sharif said Arab media should be a strategic partner in development plans to bring about success to them to ultimately contribute to social, political and security stability. (end) kt KUNA 201107 Jan 09NNNN
