Kuwait summit to outline road map for Arab economic recovery

RABAT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- The Arab Economic, Social and Development Summit, being hosted by Kuwait, aims outline a road map for Arab economic recovery and joint action.
Morocco's Maghreb Arabe Presse agency (MAP), which was very keen to fully cover this summit, said the summit's ambitious road map aims to enhance Arab economic integration.
The two-day gathering, which will conclude on Tuesday coincides with the complicated global financial crisis and the Israeli brutal aggression in Gaza, MAP pointed out.
The summit is taking place under a joint initiative by the States of Kuwait and Egypt for promoting joint Arab action in economic, social and development sectors.
The Moroccan delegation to the summit is headed by Prime Minister Abbas Al-Fassi and includes among others Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Taieb Fassi Fihri and Minister of Finance and Economy Salah-Eddine Mezouar. (end) sf.mb.
