KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- Arab leaders, in their draft resolutions to the Arab Economic Summit, called for the reconstruction of Gaza Strip through a rehabilitation and construction program in coordination with the Palestinian Authority.
The draft resolution, a copy of which was obtained by KUNA, called for executing the reconstruction program in line with Arab and international mechanisms adopted for the support of the Palestinian people, while continuing to present humanitarian assistance to Gazans.
It also called for providing financial and technical support for the rehabilitation of infrastructure, health services, and improving living standards of Palestinians in the Strip.
Moreover, it tasked the Council of Arab Health Ministers with setting up field hospitals, dispatching medical teams, and providing the necessary health care for Gazans. (end) kt KUNA 191138 Jan 09NNNN
