Lebanese PM lauds Kuwait''s support for joint Arab action

KUWAIT, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora lauded Sunday the role played by Kuwait at the Arab level and its support for joint Arab action and mega development projects.
In a statement to Kuwait Television on the sidelines of the Arab Economic Summit's "Private Sector and Civil Society Forum," he said the Kuwaiti leadership supported consolidated Arab efforts in all areas, especially in economy, in order to arrive at an Arab stance that kept up with developments in Gaza Strip.
He said that there were many areas for investment and creating opportunities for millions of Arab to join the labor market in coming years, adding, "We cannot provide the needs (of Arab people) if the Arab economy remains divided ... and I believe there are positive steps being taken and we cannot waste this chance."
