KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- The economic and social summit will be a back bone of the common Arab economic action specially that the meeting was fully backed by the Amir of Kuwait and Arab leaders, a Kuwaiti businessman said Saturday.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah always propose "constructive economic and political initiatives and ideas," Jawad Bu Khamseen told KUNA on sidelines of the "Private Sector and Civil Society Forum," held before the two-day Arab Economic Summit.
Bu Khamseen hoped the January 19-20 Arab economic summit would achieve inter-Arab integration topped by food security.
He said the Forum would be boosting inter-Arab cooperation in economic and social domains, and it was held amidst the global financial crisis and the Israeli onslaught on Gaza Strip. (end) kt KUNA 171955 Jan 09NNNN
